Finance Director

Job Description

Work Location: Jordan (must be willing to relocate to Jordan)

Job Purpose: Will be primarily responsible for the Corporate Finance Department and reporting to GM in the organization, including the Executive Management Team also will lead in enhancing the control framework environment to a best practice level, managing down reputational, security and data risks that face the company and its outsource parties.

1. Producing monthly, timely Financial and Management reports.

2. Liaise with department heads to achieve better communication and efficient flow of data information.

3. Effectively run the finance corporate section.

4. Prepare and maintain the financial contribution of the organization to the Monthly Execution Management Review Meeting.

5. Ability to work effectively with individual subsidiary accountants to ensure that the corporate reporting requirements are met on a timely basis. Continuously strive to improve the system.

6. To manage relationships with company business units and key stakeholders, ensuring that both the core finance controls strategic imperatives and company needs are met and developed.

7. Insurance Risk Management & treasury exposure.

8. Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.

9. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.

10. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.

11. Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.

12. Oversee daily operations of the finance department.

13. Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.

14. Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.

15. Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.

16. Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board and Head office

17. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

18. Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop five-year and ten-year business plans for the company.

19. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

20. Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives.

21. Responsible for budget preparation and finalization of all approved payments such as payments to suppliers, staff, workers, petty cash, etc and instruct supporting staff to comply with and co-ordinate with such payees.

22. Serve on planning and policy-making committees.

23. Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues.

24. Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.

25. Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

26. Address financial issues such as capital funding (structure) and investment strategies for the business.

27. Responsible for ERP implementation, data migration, user acceptance training & sub module design for all financial modules.

28. Develop and maintain relationships with Banks, Insurance companies, and financial consultants to ensure that the appropriate level of external services is obtained to the best advantage of Organization.

29. Treasury Management: Skilled in maintaining steady cash flow and fund availability for future/ existing business funding requirement by effectively managing treasury operations. Interact with banks to provide actual & projected cash flow for assigned projects including draw down of loans and reporting on covenants.

30. The Management has the right to review, change and add duties and responsibilities if deemed necessary.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting / finance / commerce or MBA graduate.

Qualifications/Certifications : Must have CA / CPA, CFA qualification

Work Experience: 10 years in Senior Management position in a manufacturing industry experience in Jordan

Technical Competencies

- Knowledgeable in Computer application and operation

- With strong personality & Managerial Skills & Advance Training in Finance.

- Must have ERP exposure in a manufacturing /industrial set up.

- Excellent Skills in Administrating / Communication / Analyzing / Integrating / Interpreting

- Excellent leadership qualities and commanding power
