The Group requires a Middle East Finance Director to support their Project, Operations and Maintenance (POM) business in the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful business in a key leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Business partner to ME CEO and wider SLT;

Drive focus on key financial KPI\xe2\x80\x99s;

Head of Department for POM ME Finance;

Play key role in major bid and project reviews;

Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other areas of internal compliance;

Drive accuracy, efficiency and improvements in all financial reporting including but not limited to month end reporting, annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts and statutory financials;

Support the SNC Global Finance Transformation;

The individual should be a proven business partner (whilst maintaining independence) and a highly motivated self-starter. They must be able to manage multiple (sometimes conflicting) stakeholders. Within SNC-L it is important that this role is able to business partner but also act with independence from the businesses they support

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

Recognized accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW etc). Post qualified 5 years+

Essential Criteria

Business partner but with proven ability to remain independent when appropriate;

Financially & commercially aware with ability to see the bigger picture;

Experienced Finance Director with track record of efficient and robust management and statutory financial reporting;

Ability to understand and contribute to strategic thinking;

Strong communication and influencing skills;

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple stakeholder relationships;

Desirable Criteria

Strong report writing skills;

Interest in improving Financial processes and procedures;

Ability to mentor finance and non-finance staff.
