Finance - Data Processor

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATION / LICENSES

• Graduate in accounting/finance.
• Proven experience as a data processor or similar role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good math skills
• Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years of experience
• Experience with data processing software
• Familiarity with big data concepts and databases
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to assemble, review, and verify invoices and check them against PRs, LPOs,and Work Orders.
• Ability to identify and resolve any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
• Ability to set up invoices for payment by updating meta-data when the transaction is complete.
• Proficiency in using SageX3 software or other ERP software to enter and update invoices.
• Ability to reconcile accounts payable transactions with supplier statements.
• Ability to investigate and correct invoice discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain vendor files in an organized and accurate manner.
• Ability to assist with month-end closing tasks and prepare reports as needed.
• Ability to provide supporting documentation for audits and comply with accounting standards and policies.
• Advanced Excel skills (will be skills tested) and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Processing billing data provided by other departments such as human resources, procurement, or Technical.
• Maintaining SharePoint databases by creating new metadata or updating existing ones.
• Auditing data for accuracy and ensuring that it is consistent with Company policies
• Verify the accuracy of data entered into the accounting system.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Update job knowledge as needed.
• Meet departmental productivity and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SALARY

AED 2,000 - AED 3,000 depending on experience
