Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
Responsibilities
Monitor the implementation of accounting rules in government entities and ensure correct execution of updates when issued.
Monitor and verify that government entities are using unified registers and documents correctly.
Monitor and verify that government entities are applying the correct coding and classification of assets, materials, and services according to the approved unified chart, and ensure proper implementation of any updates.
Provide support and consultation to government entities regarding their requests and inquiries related to the implementation of accounting procedures and operations, and how to apply them on the system.
Prepare a draft of the financial circular and participate in following up on its implementation after approval by the Section Head.
Prepare a draft of the general final account and ensure that all government entities close their results in the General Reserve Account.
Receive, study, and review the remarks of the Audit Authority on the General Final Account project, prepare a report including the follow-up on closing these remarks, and ensure that the concerned departments resolve all financial audit comments related to their accounts.
Participate in studying requests submitted by government entities regarding the opening of new accounts, determine the necessity for opening the new account, develop related recommendations and proposals, and submit them to the Section Head.
Continuous monitoring of user privileges on the system and ensuring they align with the approved privileges matrix in government entities.
Monitor recorded financial transactions, intermediary account balances, and review reconciliations of inter-entity accounts and government funding accounts, and submit reports on existing issues to the Section Manager.
Review reports extracted from electronic systems, ensure their accuracy, and prepare reports highlighting and presenting any existing issues.
Monitor the mechanism of managing government-owned properties, insurance processes, and follow up on annual inventory procedures.
Monitor the mechanism of managing government warehouses and follow up on the annual inventory process.
