Job Description

To manage all financial and accounting responsibilities of the Corporate Services Business Unit. To provide high-level financial administration support to the Business Unit, including invoice raising, processing payment requests, quality-assuring and reimbursing expenses, maintaining accurate client accounts and conducting client financial reconciliations. Through accurate cost models and profit and loss accounts support the Business Unit to interpret and understand the unit's financial performance. Core activities:
The Core activities of the Corporate Service Finance Business Partner include:
? Supporting the development, implementation, actioning and auditing of best financial practices across the Business Unit and ensuring that all members adhere to the six key financial policies processes of:
? Registering clients
? Invoicing and Sales
? Allocating and Crediting
? Payment request
? Expenses
? Disbursements and Recharges ? Keep accurate Statement Of Accounts for each client account, including sales,
disbursements, payments and credit limits
? Finance database administration, ensuring that the company's accounting software is up to
date with accurate client information (Address, bank, name, Point of Contact, Contact details
etc.) as well specific operational finance data (sales, expenses, credit notes, disbursements
etc)
? Reviewing New Client Registration Forms and ensuring that new clients are set up accurately
in the company's database ? Quality Assuring Invoice Request Forms and rasing Invoices on time to the required standard
? Quality Assuring Payment Request Forms and making payments to government entities and
other suppliers/vendors on time
? Ensuring the accurate Recharge of incurred expenses to clients and reconciling client
accounts regularly to ensure credit and disbursement limits are not breached.
? Supporting the CFO and Finance Supervisor to create first draft accounts and Profit and Loss
accounts for the CSBU and its cost centres, ensuring the accurate accrual and distribution of
sales and costs
? Working with the CSBU team to accurately forecast future cash flow and sales of the CSBU
cost centres
? Supporting the CSBU team with the aged debt process, including contacting clients and
ensuring the collection of overdue amounts
? Supporting the Head of Key Accounts to ensure that CSBU staff expenses are raised
accurately and in line with the prevailing policy.
Secondary Activities
? To support the CFO with the training, development and upskill of the finance team members
and where ever possible act as a mentor and coach to junior members of the team
? To deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to the finance team members to ensure
that they have a suitable foundation and underpinning knowledge of the CS business unit
? To deliver training and development sessions with CS team members to ensure that they
understand and are aware of the financial processes within the company and that they work
in partnership with the finance team to ensure seamless delivery.
? To deliver training and development sessions to the wider business to ensure that they
