FINANCE AND CONTROLLING ASSOCIATE

We are looking for accurate and knowledgeable FINANCE AND CONTROLLING ASSOCIATE located on Casablanca, Morocco.. As Finance and Controlling Associate, you will be part of Finance N&WA team, reporting to Finance Director N&WA. You will be focusing on supporting Accounting, Tax, Cash Flow Management, Internal Controls related activities as well as company financial reporting. Your key responsibilities related to Accounting will cover:

Handling accounting transactions of JTI NA in accordance with IAS/IFRS & local requirements to ensure full compliance with local and JTI policies. Accounts payables supervision: Invoices submission, follow up of booking and payments, GRIR clearing Creation and monitoring of fixed assets. Ensuring the statutory closing in partnership with the external auditors The successful candidate will be reviewing tax declaration & VAT return and handling local tax queries in coordination with N&WA controller.

You will be handling local bank relationships in coordination with N&WA controller and JTI Treasury as well as manual payments if needed.

In coordination with the N&WA controller, review controls across N&WA operations in line with JTI policies and operating guidelines, as well as local regulation.

EDUCATION

University degree in Accounting/Finance or another related field,

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in accounting / finance.

SKILLS

English and French speaker. Diligent, attentive to details and numbers oriented. Computer fluency in MS applications and Accounting Software (SAP is a plus). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
