Transguard is hiring for Central Kitchen Filipino Cook, this position is responsible for the FOOD Preparation and supervision in the Philippines sections.

Scope: To support the cooking of Filipino Meals.

Responsibility:

• Cook foods of Filipino origin in accordance with a production meal plan and standard recipe
• Propose new menu items for approval and inclusion in the future production plan
• Instruct assistant cooks in the cooking of food
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assistant cooks and works in food production
• Follow instructions and recipes carefully
• Identify and Arrange for equipment repair/replacement as required
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
• Record and Report all food waste and near miss/hazard/incidents in accordance with company policy and processes
• Check quantities and quality of received goods from store is correct in accordance with the h production plan
• Complies with the TOH health, safety, and Food safety hygiene policy.
• Cooperate and comply with TOH in regard to OSH instructions and safe working procedures
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, the environment, and others at work.
• Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis

Ensure compliance with the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems requirements.

Skills

Qualifications/ Competencies: . Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Filipino cook/ chef and can prepare a variety of dishes.

Ability to work as part of a team . Customer Service Orientation . Flexible approach to work

• Minimum English Language Level (by Transguard Group Standards) . Time Management . Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene . Able to work in a fast-paced environment . Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently bulk cooking.
