Job Description
Location: China Sea Restaurant (Near Deira Clock Tower, Dubai) Role Description: We are currently looking for a Filipino Cook to join our F&B team who has the ability to deliver extraordinary levels of food quality to our guests. Ultimately, you\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure all restaurant operations run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Provides a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following the set Standards of Performance.
- Responsible for his part of the food production schedule as assigned by the Chef.
- Receive from stores ingredients required for the daily production.
- Work in all areas of production including hot or cold kitchen as required.
- Help in the packing of food for locations or placing the menu items in the service areas.
- Follow all food safety policies and procedures to ensure the safe production of food.
- Ensure the correct use of equipment at all times
- Report equipment breakdown or failure to the chef.
- Ensure his work station is kept clean as per the cleaning schedules.
- Actively works with chefs to increase his knowledge and expertise in all areas of production.
- Attend and participates in training sessions as required.
- Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time
- Performs all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set.
- Ensures that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Monitors operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
- At least 2 years work experience in the same role
- Proficient in cooking Filipino cuisine
- Knowledge of Food Safety regulations
- A multi-tasker with good time management skills
- Flexible and friendly personality
- Salary upto AED 2500 - AED 3000 for the right candidate
- Staff meals provided by the company
- Health and medical insurance as per regulations
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- We prefer immediate joiners who are currently on a cancelled or visit visa. Are you available to join immediately?
