About the role

The Field Service & Application Support Manager \xe2\x80\x93 EMEA is a practical \xe2\x80\x98hands on\xe2\x80\x99 role with responsibility for direct installation & commissioning of Fireye products in the EMEA region. Working closely with the Key Account Managers and Product Manager in the EMEA region they will also give assistance and technical support to our distributors and OEM channels. The role will carry some key objectives to grow the field service business for Fireye and to assist in training our distributors and OEM\xe2\x80\x99s to provide \xe2\x80\x98best in class\xe2\x80\x99 customer service. Willing to travel throughout the EMEA region, as in some projects this may mean an extended time away from home. The role will report to the Senior Manager of Sales, EMEA.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who will:

Be in charge of practical installation (supervision) and commissioning of Fireye products including:

Flame Scanners

Pilot Igniters

Burner Controls

Provide Field Service reports as per customer requirement and ensure customer satisfaction.

Do technical administration support to Key Account Manager and Product Manager in the EMEA.

Give technical support to Fireye distributors & OEM\xe2\x80\x99s in the EMEA region.

Identify training needs of Fireye distributors & OEM\xe2\x80\x99s in the EMEA region and implement a course of action.

Conduct formal and informal Product Training for all local customers as necessary.

Build and maintain a customer data base for future field service and after sales market strategies.

Assist with Product introductions and Promotions.

Direct customer contact within the territory including all Distributors, OEM\'s, contractors, and OEM representatives.

Coordinate, prioritize and resolve issues encountered by the team.

Optimize the usage of manpower, standard time, equipment and energy of team.

Escalate key issues that will impact the business.

Manage team according to established programs and objectives.

Contact customers, collect feedback, and establish and maintain good relationship with customers.

Respond to customer complaints and carry out customer satisfaction investigations to ensure establishment of appropriate improvement plans.

Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant Engineering Discipline.

Practical combustion engineering experience preferred.

Residency in one of the EMEA territories.

5 to 10 years of experience in field service preferably in Power, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Industrial Process industries.

Knowledge and practical working of combustion controls or instrumentation.

Technical knowledge of the systems and processes used in the combustion controls, Utility, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, HVAC and Industrial Process.

Familiarity with nationally recognized safety procedures, specifically for M&E type installations.

Good written skills and the ability to create detailed service reports, customer proposals and quotations.

In addition to English, Arabic, French, German, Italian spoken language skills will be definite advantage.
