To support our Team we are looking for:
Field Service Engineer
You should have at least 10-15 years' experience in covering the role of Field Service Engineer for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Installation, Start-up, Troubleshooting, Maintenance, Overhaul projects for rotating machineries in the Oil&Gas / Industrial Market.
Your tasks will be the following:
- Demanding duties as maintenance and overhauls of compressors and auxiliaries, with some experience in Hyper Compressors.
- Working outdoor and indoor as well on LPG/LPM & LNG ship carriers
- Hand-on experience on performing Field Service overhauling activities on Reciprocating Compressors and its components
- Perform on-site maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and overhauling of Reciprocating Compressors
- Provide a technical report of all field service work performed in accordance with Company standards, for each assignment
- When required, provide supervision to on site personnel in connection with repair, upgrade, commissioning and installation
- Check parts inventory, prepare spare list through the state of the art engineering practices and quality procedures as per requirements
- Provide recommendation for necessary tools and spare parts required for on-site overhauling
- Perform all the duties assigned by the field service coordinator.
- Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications on reciprocating compressors when required
- Maintaining tools and test equipment allocate for field service and ensuring they are properly calibrated
- Advise customers of opportunities to upgrade older equipment and requirements regarding stocking of spare parts, service requirements and techniques
- Maintaining daily communications with customers during on-site activities to ensure all field service activities completion as scheduled and following all safety/quality requirements
- Ensure all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction. You don't hesitate to also take responsibility for organizational and administrative duties which are connected to your work
- Customer-focused and responsible team player with the ability to forge relationships
- On request, provide assistance to our workshop facilities
- Following safety, health and behavioral practices and policies as described by the organization
- Able to work independently
- Responsible for organization and administrative duties which are connected to the work
- Communicate regularly with product specialists at Burckhardt Compression AG, Switzerland
- Act always in accordance with Company standards and procedure for Health, Safety and Environmental
- Respond efficiently to the demands of administration procedures imposed either by BCAG, BCAE, BCSA, HR or Clients
- Travel activity to approx. 80% in the middle east region and worldwide when required
Job Requirements:
You must have a a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
You have a passion for customer focus, a strong service orientation, enjoy working with people from different nationalities and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
You are of a reliable and communicative nature and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
A high degree of independence, communication skills in discussions with international clients and a highly developed quality conscience are characterizing your personality.
You are fluent in the English language orally and written and you are familiar with the following IT applications (MS-Office; SAP; MS Dynamics CRM)
