As a

Field Service Engineer

, you'll play a vital role in supporting JBT Marel's high-end food processing equipment. Based in

Egypt

, you'll travel across the EMEA region to install, service, and maintain complex systems for major food producers.

What You'll Be Doing

Install, maintain, and repair high-precision food processing systems Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing fast and effective solutions Deliver basic and advanced customer training on aseptic equipment and processes Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate inspections with customer teams Interpret technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, P&ID) to guide diagnostics and repairs Create weekly service reports, including inspection findings and expense records Recommend system upgrades or spare part needs based on on-site evaluations

What You'll Bring

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (or equivalent technical background) Proven experience with food processing or similar high-complexity equipment Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&ID schematics Strong communication and report-writing skills in English (other languages a plus) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and standard reporting tools Availability to travel internationally up to 60%, with trips up to 6 weeks
