This Position reports to: Field Service Manager
The Field service coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of field service operations. This position involves coordinating with Service Managers and team leaders for scheduling, dispatching, and supporting field engineers, maintaining communication with clients, and managing service logistics to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. It also ensures it complies with ABB's and customer's standards, procedures, and policies.
The work model for the role is: Onsite/Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Motion Business Area based in Abu Dhabi UAE.
Your Role:
Planning & Scheduling: Coordinates service orders and engineer schedules with Service Managers and team leaders, participates in planning meetings, and uses ABB's planning software.
Client & Operational Support: Liaises with clients to confirm appointments, ensures timely submission of service reports and expenses, and manages tools, PPE, and gate passes.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintains monthly utilization records, competency and certification databases, and documentation related to HSE and third-party training.
Inventory & Logistics: Oversees capex tools, PPE stock, warranty materials, and spare parts tracking, including RCA; coordinates transportation and on-site logistics.
Administrative Duties: Prepares Arabic letters and completes required forms for operational needs.
