Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within specifications. This role requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as proficiency in various engineering tools and technologies. The Field Engineer will work closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project requirements.

Duties

Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement project schedules. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and propose effective solutions. Design and develop electrical systems, including PCB layouts and SoC integration. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for system design and documentation. Perform signal processing tasks and debugging of firmware for various applications. Engage in manufacturing processes including surface mount technology and soldering. Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and Perl for scripting tasks. Conduct vision inspection system assessments to ensure quality control. Provide technical support for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electrical equipment. Maintain accurate schematics and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation. Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies. Experience with SystemVerilog for hardware description language tasks. Knowledge of quantum engineering principles is a plus. Familiarity with electrical engineering standards such as NEC. Mechanical knowledge to support interdisciplinary projects. Experience with CAD software for design purposes. Ability to work with ARM architectures and Arduino platforms. Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving in complex systems.
