In this role, you will focus on supporting Datacentre business development, design datacentre solutions; and support in winning projects. You will work closely with Delta Sales and Product Managers to deliver technical proposal. You will actively support customers, key partners, and system integrators. You will support and train partners, and lead pre-sales efforts ensuring appropriate experts are engaged, to deliver accurate proposals to customers. Main responsibilities and tasks

- Understand customer technical requirements and deliver a consultative approach internally and externally. Turning high-level project objectives into a comprehensive set of technical requirements.
- Draft technical Datacentre solutions to customers and Partner as well as to other Delta Business units’ colleagues.
- Develop proposals to customers with accurate solution leveraging Product Management and Datacentre design teams.
- Generate a detailed bill-of-materials for all parts based on the design.
- Installation Support, advice customer or partner project managers on the design and ensure that the system is installed in a manner that meets design objectives.
- Validate/prioritize engagement in high potential and cross-domain complex projects.
- Provide guidance on deployment of proposed solutions.
- Report on successes and areas needing improvements.
- Be accountable for Datacentre Technical support in the MEA region.
- Domestic and international travel 20% of the time
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Datacentre based solutions/services and customers’ technical requirements to drive our offering in this area.
- Prioritize activities to support Sales teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. - Experience within the IT infrastructure industry or the Electrical or Mechanical manufacturing.
- Experience of drafting solutions for complex technical projects.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in designing Datacenter infrastructure (Power/cooling) solutions.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in technical pre-sales.
- Active participation in the datacenter or the power sector professional organizations.
- Uptime Datacenter certifications are a plus.
- Experience using AutoCAD is a plus.
- Middle East and Africa market knowledge.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent level of English and French, verbal and written, Arabic is a plus.
- Structured and well organised.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet business deadlines.
- Must travel frequently to successfully meet the needs of the business and customers.
