Pick up/ drop off other customers at pre-arranged locations on route as necessary.
Check the vehicle prior to each mission in accordance with the vehicle checklist in operation and report any damage, faults, and concerns.
Complete all mileage and fuel records as required after each mission.
Drive safely and within legally prescribed limits at all times.
Undertake to be aware of the capabilities as a driver and not drive whilst in any way unfit to do so.
Be aware and comply with any specific requirements relative to the transport of individual service users as advised by individual care plans.
Report to the transport supervisor or in his absence other designated staff, any concerns related to the customer being transported.
Treat customers with respect at all times in accordance with the literature on dealing with customers.
Comply with health and safety standards including risk assessment compilation.
Take responsibility for the health and safety of his passengers at all times.
Understand the traffic rules and opportunity policies and ensure that duties are carried out in accordance with the policy and good practice.
