Position Summary
The senior accountant / Finance manager is expected to lead, manage and report the financial activities of the medical facility--including billing, revenue cycle processes, budgeting, and financial analysis--while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely financial insights to support decision-making.
Candidate Requirements
Accounting or finance related degree
Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA)
At least 5 years' experience in accounting or audit firm
UAE experience preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Female, as all staff and most patients are female
Title and salary range subject to seniority of candidate

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for senior management, auditors, and UAE regulatory authorities.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring error-free financial statements.
Develop and present MIS reports to support strategic decision-making, highlight variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
Handle regulatory payments and maintain operational readiness by preventing delays and penalties.
Prepare VAT and CIT reports and filings
Ensure compliance with established finance governance processes
Liaise with external auditors and government authorities
Coordinate with ERP provider to fine tune and get timely automated reports as per management requirements
AP - Cost Management & Profitability Analysis
Analyse direct and indirect costs to determine procedure-level profit margins.
Support doctors and patient coordinators in making informed surgery pricing decisions to optimise profitability.
Review AP and ensure all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
AP - Commission & Compensation Management
In conjunction with HR, prepare and execute monthly payroll, variable pay calculations and payments
Prepare monthly variable pay statements for doctors and therapists.
Apply approved profit-sharing and revenue-sharing models to ensure transparent, accurate, and timely payouts.
Manage AR according to policies and procedures
Develop structured payment plans tailored to patients' financial capacity and treatment progression.
Ensure all financial documentation meets UAE regulatory standards.
Track and recover outstanding payments while maintaining strong patient relationships and service satisfaction.
Procurement & Inventory Management
Coordinate with Nursing, Wellness, and Aesthetic departments to source consumables and products at competitive pricing.
Monitor stock levels, provide accurate inventory reports, and analyse sales trends to prevent overstocking and wastage.
Strategic Partnerships & Cost Optimisation
Collaborate with partner hospitals to negotiate pricing, reduce costs, and identify operational savings.
Support cross-department initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and overall business performance.
