The lifeguard will monitor swimming activities, enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean and safe environment. This position may be required for gender-specific areas due to cultural or facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor pool, beach, or water area to ensure guest safety.
Respond quickly and efficiently to all emergency situations.
Provide immediate first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
Inspect safety equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Maintain cleanliness and order around the pool or aquatic area.
Deliver excellent customer service and support to all patrons.
Participate in regular training and emergency drills.
Ensure that gender-appropriate privacy and cultural guidelines are followed (if applicable).
Qualifications:
Valid Lifeguard Certification (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
CPR and First Aid Certification (current).
Strong swimming and rescue skills.
Good physical fitness and stamina.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.
