Duties, tasks, and responsibilities

Dust, mop and sweep patients' room, nurses and surgical units and administrative offices. Clean clinic floors and surfaces using predefined cleaning methods and procedures. Clean and disinfect restrooms. Mix appropriate quantities of cleaning liquids and chemicals in accordance with state safety regulations. Respond to emergencies in relation to cleaning clinic environment. Clean mirrors, windows, and floors, along with polishing fittings and fixtures etc. Dispose of wastes in waste bins as well as clean the waste bins. Appropriately dispose of medical waste products like syringes, hand gloves, face mask, sachets of tablets, etc. Dust furniture as well as equipment. Collect dirty laundry and deliver them to washing areas. Wipeout blood or other body fluids and then disinfect the area of contact. Document the procedure involved in the disposal of clinic waste products and ensure that the right procedure in line with the standard practice of the clinic, is followed. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper compaction of surgical waste according to clinics policies. Create and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement. Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazard and assist in addressing it. Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies. Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications:

General Cleaning:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust.

Restroom Maintenance:

Clean and restock supplies.

Waste Management:

Empty trash and recycle.

Surface Cleaning:

Disinfect surfaces and clean windows.

Equipment Handling:

Use and maintain cleaning tools safely.

Safety Compliance:

Follow health and safety guidelines.

Reporting:

Report maintenance issues.

Experience:

Previous cleaning experience preferred.

Skills:

Attention to detail, time management.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physical tasks.

Reliability:

Punctual and dependable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
