The Female Coordinator will assist the Director in improving and enhancing the female specific programming within the Student Athletics and Recreation (SARD) department. The coordinator will seek to increase the overall female student participation across the SARD portfolio and collaborate with the AUS Student Council to refine and make our programming more accessible to the general student population.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the sports complex, specifically related to the female programming.
Report any maintenance issues to the concerned departments and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure all health and safety best practices are always met.
Assist with the design and ensure deliverance of female fitness programming.
Coordinate female sports team\'s training and participation in university tournaments/competitions.
Support residential students\' participation in community sporting and fitness events.
Coordinate both on and off campus female competitions, health awareness campaigns and tournaments.
Coordinate and make continuous improvements the female fitness program/schedule within gym.
Keep attendance records and reports for management to supply when requested.
Assist the SARD director in implementing and achieving the coaching KPI\'s to further enhance the athlete experience.
Qualifications and Skills Required
A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
Experience with Microsoft Office 360.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field or three years or more in a similar role.
Fitness or sports related qualifications such as REP\'s level 2 or above.
Coaching or leadership Level 1 Certificate
Supervisor level experience in sports/facility management.
Supervisory experience of coaches/fitness trainers.
Experience in coaching a variety of sports.
Experience within a gym/fitness environment
