6 months (extendable up to 2 years)

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
Maintain accurate and updated financial records for the restaurant.
Record daily accounting entries including revenue, expenses, petty cash, and journal vouchers.
Prepare monthly financial statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets.
Manage bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and collections.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and handle periodic VAT submissions.
Support internal and external audits when required.
Accounts Payable & Purchasing
Verify supplier invoices and match them with purchase orders and delivery notes.
Maintain supplier ledgers and ensure timely payment processing.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to manage cost control and supplier performance.
Reconcile inventory purchases with storekeepers and cost controllers.
Payroll & HR Support
Process monthly payroll accurately, including attendance, overtime, and deductions.
Prepare WPS files and coordinate salary transfers with HR.
Maintain employee files, leave records, and related HR documentation in compliance with UAE labor law.
Assist in onboarding new employees and ensure completion of finance-related HR formalities.
Systems & Reporting
Operate and update accounting systems (including POS, inventory, and payroll integrations).
Generate management reports for cost control, budget analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience in the F&B or hospitality sector (UAE experience preferred).
Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
Strong understanding of UAE labor law, payroll processing, and the WPS system.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
