F&b Cost Controller

Job Description
We are currently seeking for a passionate and dynamic Cost Controller who will be responsible for controlling costs including planning, developing, supplier and subcontractor verification, forecasting budgets including the evaluation of cost/sales market analysis within the finance team. Ideal candidate comes either from restaurant chain or hotel background, with valid UAE driving license and comfortable dealing with alcoholic drinks. Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of hospitality business
- At least over 5-8 years experience in costing
- Strong communication skills
- Good personality as the person will be working closely with the Operations and Venue Managers
- Prepare the costing for recipes and menus and suggest the selling price
- Perform test checking on the receiving of goods at the venues to ensure that the procedures are followed correctly
- Prepare daily flash report of food costs and verify daily outlet void control sheets
- Attend major banquet events with open bar, prepare P&L statement of major banqueting events and prepare banquet revenue breakdown summaries
- Randomly test the inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing stock, taking account of store issues and sales
- Verify and control complimentary goods
