- Processes all payment options when the guest settles their bill.
- Handles operations of their cash register.
- Understands all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend food & beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
- Handles guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints or problems to Head Bartender/Beverage Manager if no immediate solution can be founded and to assure follow up with guests
- Performs opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned.
- Ensures that health, hygiene, and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the department in compliance with HACCP standards and procedures.
- Close all the POS transactions on time to time to avoid any open transactions and monitor very closely.
- Print all the Cashier/Sales transaction reports at the end of the shift and tally with the Cash, Credit Card, Room charges and place the Cash & Credit Card charge slips in the main cash safe in sealed envelope
Additional Information
- (1) years minimum experience in a similar role in four- or five-star hotel
- UAE/GCC local market experience
