Head of Design

to lead our creative vision and elevate our brands to the next level.

Role Overview

The Head of Design will be responsible for setting the creative direction, leading the design team, and ensuring that each collection reflects the brand's DNA while meeting market demands. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to top management and working closely with the Production, Marketing, and Retail teams to ensure timely execution of seasonal and capsule collections.

Key Responsibilities

Define the creative direction and seasonal mood boards aligned with brand identity. Lead and mentor the design team (designers, pattern makers, sample room). Oversee the full design process: concept, sketching, fabric selection, sampling, and final approval. Work with the procurement and production teams to ensure feasibility, cost efficiency, and quality standards. Monitor fashion trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to ensure relevance and innovation. Collaborate with marketing on collection storytelling, campaigns, and launches. Manage design calendars and ensure collections are delivered on time according to the 5-month development timeline.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 3-5

years of experience

in fashion design Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and market awareness. Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, production processes, and garment construction. Strategic thinker with strong communication and leadership skills. Based in Qatar or willing to relocate. Arabic-speaking candidates will be an advantage
