- Plan, organize, and manage daily factory operations (carpentry, joinery, upholstery, finishing, installation).
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Supervise material procurement, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity and reduce waste.
2. Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop and enforce quality standards for furniture and interior design projects.
- Conduct inspections at different production stages to ensure defect-free output.
- Resolve production issues and implement corrective measures promptly.
3. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead and manage factory staff: supervisors, technicians, carpenters, upholsterers, designers, and installers.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training for skills improvement.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety regulations.
4. Project Management & Client Coordination
- Work closely with the design team and project managers to translate concepts into production.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants for approvals, technical drawings, and progress updates.
- Oversee site installation and full setup of projects (residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.).
5. Financial & Administrative Control
- Monitor production costs, labor efficiency, and material utilization.
- Prepare reports for management on productivity, profitability, and project progress.
- Assist in pricing, quotations, and budget preparation.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in furniture manufacturing, joinery, or interior fit-out industry (with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role).
- Technical Skills:
Knowledge of joinery, carpentry, upholstery, CNC, and finishing processes.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, production planning tools, and ERP systems.
- Leadership Skills: Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.- Languages: English required; Arabic is an advantage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)- Production output vs. schedule adherence.
