Job description Main challenges in this position (or company/division/BU):

  • To develop and implement systems in establishing a high level of service to market
  • To implement systems to build high efficient culture
  • To implement strong systems to comply with Food safety and workplace safety
  • Project management on expansion projects, improvement projects at the site
  • To develop & coach team members to improve skills and competencies & establish an improvement-oriented culture.
  • To collaborate with HR to build a responsible and responsive union-management relationship.
Responsibility and mandate: (Main responsibilities in terms of budget, personnel, processes etc.) - The role would be responsible for the manufacturing of products as per budgeted conversion cost and also bring in continual improvement to offset the inflationary impact - The role would be responsible to ensure high delivery adherence to the production plan. - The role would be responsible for implementing workplace safety and food safety practices in the plants - The role would be responsible for building and driving an efficient culture and adhering to Company deliverables - The role would be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable laws with respect to Factories Act, Pollution Act, Labour Act, Food Safety Act, and any other applicable law in running the plant - The role would be responsible to develop and coach the team to build high performance, self-driven team and also ensure workplace discipline meets the overall efficiency objectives. - The role would be responsible to adhere to sustainability initiatives at the factory driven by various departments like EHS, HR, etc. Main tasks and/or projects: (The most important tasks and projects that this person will be working on and held accountable for) - To ensure Daily adherence level on fill rates against the plan - To ensure all GMP standards are met on the shop floor in producing the goods thereby complying with food safety standards like BRC, ISO 22000, and any other audits like US FDA, Hallal. etc - To ensure all Work safety standards requirements are met on the shop floor to achieve zero harm objectives. - To ensure implementation of continual improvement projects at the plant thereby improving the efficiency of the plant. - To ensure to implement of Manufacturing excellence requirements like Autonomous maintenance, 5S, Energy optimization, Quality circle, and Kaizen at the plant thereby adhering to Company Production systems - To ensure participation in new projects for new product manufacturing with an objective to finally take over the plant from projects and R&D for continuous production. - To ensure to constantly identify training requirements (On the job and other training needs) to build a strong performance-oriented plant team. - To collaborate with HR to build a more responsible, transparent & communicative relationship with workers. Criteria for evaluation: (Financial results, improvements in the org., development of employees etc.) - Weekly Production Adherence on and fill rates - Key efficiency parameters - Productivity, Energy consumption, Water consumption - OEE - Machine throughput, Autonomous maintenance, Kaizen - Quality and safety targets - Consumer complaints and H1 - Continual improvement projects - People Discipline - Absenteeism - People development - Skill enhancement Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED14,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per month Experience:
