Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Factory Incharge

to oversee the day-to-day operations of our interior and furnishings production unit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

upholstery

,

carpentry

, and

curtain manufacturing

, along with strong skills in

site management

,

client coordination

, and

sample/fabric approvals

. This role combines technical production management with direct client interfacing responsibilities.

Production Oversight

:

Supervise daily factory operations for upholstery, carpentry, and curtain production. Ensure timely execution of all work orders as per client specifications. Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and final products.

Technical Expertise

:

Apply expert knowledge in upholstery, curtain fabrication, and woodwork/carpentry. Provide technical guidance to factory staff and ensure adherence to quality standards. Oversee the cutting, stitching, fitting, and finishing processes.

Client Coordination & Site Visits

:

Visit project sites for measurements, installations, and progress monitoring. Provide fabric and material suggestions to clients, ensuring practicality and design alignment. Finalize and confirm samples, fabrics, and finishes with clients and design teams.

Approvals & Documentation

:

Take and confirm site measurements. Manage sample approvals and maintain accurate records. Prepare production and delivery schedules based on client deadlines.

Team Management

:

Supervise production teams, including tailors, and carpenters. Ensure safety and discipline in the factory.

Required Qualifications

:

Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the furniture or interior industry. Strong knowledge of

upholstery, curtains, woodwork

, and related production processes. Ability to read design drawings and translate them into production requirements. Excellent communication and client-handling skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
