Job Description

GMT Global Manufacture is a UAE-based company specializing in

skincare, hair care, body care, and home fragrance

products. We provide

custom formulation, contract manufacturing, and private labeling

services for both regional and international brands.

We are seeking a

highly experienced Factory Floor Manager

with a proven background in

cosmetic or personal care product manufacturing

, who can lead operations, maintain production efficiency, and uphold the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations:

Oversee

end-to-end production activities

, including

mixing, filling, labeling, and packing

. Plan and execute

daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules

to meet targets. Supervise

production staff

, ensuring efficiency, discipline, and teamwork. Manage

batch preparation and documentation

, ensuring traceability and compliance. Ensure proper use and maintenance of

machinery and production equipment

. Monitor

machine calibration, preventive maintenance, and downtime reports

. Maintain

inventory control

of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Implement and monitor

LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure all products meet

GMP, ISO, and company quality standards

. Work closely with

QA/QC and R&D teams

during pilot batches and scale-up production. Identify and correct deviations or non-conformities in real time. Maintain proper

sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols

across all departments. Support internal and external

audits, inspections, and compliance documentation

.

Team Leadership & Training:

Train and guide production operators and line leaders on

SOPs and safety standards

. Conduct regular

performance reviews and skill development sessions

. Promote a positive, efficient, and safety-conscious work environment.

Reporting & Coordination:

Prepare

daily production reports, batch summaries, and KPI tracking

. Coordinate with

Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics

teams to ensure smooth flow of materials. Provide weekly progress updates to the

Managing Director and Operations Head

. Participate in

strategic planning

for production expansion, equipment upgrades, and process optimization.

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience

as a

Factory Floor Manager / Production Supervisor

in

cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing

. Strong hands-on experience with

creams, lotions, shampoos, body scrubs, oils, and liquid formulations

. In-depth knowledge of

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

and

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

. Excellent understanding of

production machinery, filling lines, and labeling systems

. Proven track record in

team leadership, workflow management, and process improvement

. Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities. Proficiency in

Microsoft Excel, ERP, or similar production tracking systems

.
