A Facility Specialist (FS) maintains and oversees Rig Technologies\xe2\x80\x99 facilities, grounds, and asset machinery to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. FC duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities and machinery to meet safety regulations, and coordinating PPMs, renovations, and updates. RESPONSIBILITIES:

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED: Essential:
A Facility Specialist (FS) maintains and oversees Rig Technologies\xe2\x80\x99 facilities, grounds, and asset machinery to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. FC duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities and machinery to meet safety regulations, and coordinating PPMs, renovations, and updates. RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Facility Specialist performs many maintenance, safety, and management tasks that promote a clean and safe working environment for the Rig Technologies employees, including:
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities under Rig Technologies \xe2\x80\x93 i.e., North Aftermarket, Central Office, DRM facility, and the Aftermarket Spare Parts Office & Warehouse.
- Coordinate with external parties regarding the Facilities\xe2\x80\x99 Service, such as delegating or monitoring maintenance orders.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the interior and exterior areas, such as offices, parking lots, warehouses, and yard spaces.
- Responsible for the delivery of all planned and reactive tasks in accordance with the Service Level Specification requirements.
- Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and management.
- Recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment.
- Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for the facility\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
- Maintain good and harmonious relationships with the client, tenants, and visitors and promptly respond to complaints.
- All work is to be performed as per HSE regulations, municipal by-laws, government legislation, and Building codes.
A Facility Specialist uses many soft skills and industry knowledge to maintain the commercial properties they oversee, including:
- Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Proficiency with repair tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members
- Great time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
- Computer literate. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and in the use of AutoCAD or equivalent software.
- Strongly driven by a safety culture.
- Valid UAE driving license holder.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED: Essential:
- Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Facilities Management or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).
- Minimum 3 years UAE / GCC experience in FM / Maintenance / MEP
- IT skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and in the use of AutoCAD or equivalent software.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority.
- Punctual with strong attendance history.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
