Job Title Facility Maintenance Technician

Description

Our client, a large technology company, is urgently looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Your other responsibilities that you will be responsible for will include but not limited to:

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting repairs as necessary

• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities, fabrication, and welding.

• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of facility machinery

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties

• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

• Managing the cleaning of the facility

• Cleaning of air filters for data center

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Willingness and ability to follow guidance from other staff members as well as management

• Positive and professional attitude at all times, very high attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and in a team environment

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• 4+ years of manufacturing experience strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC

• 5 years' experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing Construction

• HVAC experience

• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including, lawn mowers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and small hand tools
