Source and manage relationships with external vendors for specialized maintenance services and supplies.
Assist in budget preparation for maintenance operations and control expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory levels, and equipment conditions.
Manage and coordinate maintenance staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Qualification:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred for advanced technical understanding.
2+ years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, demonstrating a proven track record of leadership.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring quick diagnosis and repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to think critically and address maintenance challenges effectively.
Strong communication skills to foster teamwork and convey maintenance needs and solutions to non-technical staff.
UAE driving license is a must.
