Job Summary: Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Drive maximum value from the equipment by improving machine safety and reliability. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. The Maintenance leader uses their extensive experience and a solid knowledge of predictive maintenance, and OEE to improve equipment reliability and drive process improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for reducing the likelihood of failures with equipment & facilities that could affect the operation performance and potentially our employees and customers.
Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.
Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.
Supervise employees and contractors/suppliers who perform maintenance and tool making.
Prepare and manage maintenance plans and budgets.
Develop preventive maintenance program and corrective action by machine.
Works closely with Plant Leadership and Operations to deploy Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and Maintenance best practice.
Implement and ensure all safety programs and procedures are followed.
Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
Ensure that maintenance cover for production areas is provided at all times by demonstrating flexibility regarding working overtime to provide cover for holidays, sick leave, shutdown periods, busy periods and as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
8 years of overall experience in maintenance and/or operations
5 years experience in facility and/or factory maintenance
Experience working with and understanding TPM principles and methods.
Experience driving daily preventive maintenance for automated equipment, cranes, furnaces, compressed air systems, HVAC, chillers, etc…
