Job Summary



The Facility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining all electrical and mechanical systems within the facility to ensure efficiency and continuity. He oversees preventive maintenance plans, responds to breakdowns, and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards

Key Responsibilities



General Shared Responsibilities



Supervise daily maintenance operations across all facility systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans (PPM). Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure timely resolution. Manage technicians and assign tasks based on priorities. Prepare maintenance and incident reports. Coordinate with contractors and monitor maintenance contracts. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (HSE) regulations.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities



Maintain electrical distribution systems and panels (MDB, SMDB, DB). Inspect generators, breakers, UPS, and lighting systems. Perform routine testing for earthing and lightning protection systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults. Monitor energy consumption and load analysis.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 5-15 years of experience in maintenance or facility management. Strong knowledge of FM standards and maintenance systems. Proficiency in CMMS software and diagnostic tools.

Skills



Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication abilities. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure.
