Job Title FACILITY ENGINEER/5YEAR EXP/MECHANICAL

Description

FACILITY ENGINEER/5YEAR EXP/MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL/MEP AND HVAC SYSTEMEXP:

  • Manage the hard and soft facility management and specialist services
  • Projects management and supervision of internal and external contractors ensure a level of service and safety.
  • Own the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies, procedures, and protocols for the Facilities services (inc. Permit to Work System and Emergency Procedures)
  • Support the Maintenance activities of the department by providing specialist engineering knowledge and advice, associated with the full range of building services.
  • Establishes and delivers an effective planned preventative maintenance program to address maintenance and environmental and conservation matters.
Ensures that all contractors and in-house employees carry out their work, in accordance with and adherence to company, local and regional health and safety at work criteria.

Supervise and liaise with all contractors, write specifications and scope of work for all electrical, mechanical, and associated building works complying with the local government regulations, and inspect and sign for contractor works upon satisfactory completion.

Prepare and provide management reports in a timely manner as and when required Provide and prepare estimates and quotations for small project works as and when required Preparation of competency assessment and issuing of Standing Instructions

Plan, coordinate and supervise in-house staff, consultants and specialist service contractors on the building services.

Maintain good and harmonious relationships with the client, tenants and visitors and respond to any complaints promptly. Any issues to be reported to the helpdesk.

All work is to be performed as per HSE regulations, municipal by-laws, government legislation and Building codes.

Whilst the holder will take primary responsibility for the Facilities systems on-site, they should be conversant with, and understand, the complete working of the electrical, Facilities and electronic systems.

Managing DLP Services for all private and commercial assets

Transition & Mobilization- Manage the successful transition period between the contractors, and hand over of new assets to the facility department. Ensure the effective and successful implementation of the proposed mobilization in order to achieve smooth operations.

Physical verification of Planned Preventive Maintenance at the site for all assets and ensure the quality of PPM delivered as per the standard, and in compliance with the check sheet.

Oversee the general maintenance of all life safety systems throughout the properties and report & rectify any major defects.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.

Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the facilities in order to determine the type of work required.

Provides emergency response service 24/7
  • Prepares and is responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
Ensure that all administration files are kept up to date including drawing prints, specifications, equipment, technical maintenance manuals, etc.
  • Ensures the correct implementation of all health and safety, energy control, and management directives and that up-to-date records of all test certificates/licenses are kept.
  • Perform other works as directed by their line manager from time to time.
  • Ensure compliance with the company Management System relevant to the position.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: -

Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a maintenance role in facility management operations with a facility management service provider or similar.

Extensive Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system as well as operation of building management system and its components.

Experience in project management, managing fit-out works, refurbishments.

Knowledge of AUTOCAD/REVIT will be an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
