Facility Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Monitor and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and fire safety. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment and systems are operating efficiently. Supervise and coordinate with in-house technicians and third-party service contractors. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate necessary repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and reports. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Oversee energy management and implement cost-effective solutions to reduce energy usage. Provide technical support for renovation and remodeling projects within the building. Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets and control expenses. Ensure resident satisfaction by addressing maintenance complaints professionally and promptly.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or residential building maintenance. Strong knowledge of building systems (MEP), BMS (Building Management Systems), and preventive maintenance techniques. Good understanding of local safety, fire, and building regulations. Hands-on troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage contractors and multiple service providers. Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills
