Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Facility Engineer

to support the Facility and Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our buildings and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day operations, maintenance planning, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Facility and Operations Manager in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) Conduct routine inspections and support preventive maintenance activities. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for scheduled maintenance and minor projects. Support in maintaining regulatory compliance across safety, health, and environmental standards. Help manage facility-related documentation including maintenance logs, permits, and inspection records. Monitor energy usage and assist in implementing efficiency improvements. Respond to facility issues and assist in resolving them promptly. Provide regular updates and reports to the Facility and Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in facility or building maintenance engineering. Sound knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively under supervision and take initiative when required. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of safety and building codes. Certifications like LEED, PMP, or CFM will be an added advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

* Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
