Role Overview:

iFM is looking for a

FM Project Manager - Retail Supermarket Operations (6-12 months, extendable contract).

The FM Project Manager will oversee

upgrades, remodels, and technical enhancements

in operational supermarket stores. The role involves

managing MEP systems (HVAC, fire alarm, smoke management, refrigeration, kitchen ventilation), civil works (flooring, ceilings, walls, tiling), and authority compliance projects (Civil Defense, HSE, HACCP)

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage upgrades and remodels

of operational supermarket stores with minimal disruption to daily operations.

Oversee MEP systems

(HVAC, refrigeration, smoke management, fire alarm, kitchen ventilation) and ensure timely system upgrades.

Supervise civil works

including flooring, ceilings, shelving, walls, tiling, and other interior enhancements.

Coordinate authority compliance projects

(e.g., Civil Defense, HSE, HACCP) to meet safety and regulatory standards.

Prepare BOQs and verify final quantities

for billing, certification, and cost control.

Maintain and update asset registers

and monitor asset lifecycle for proactive replacements.

Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance

, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs are met.

Produce accurate and timely reports

(weekly/monthly progress, asset condition, improvement plans, incident logs).

Coordinate with internal stakeholders

(Retail Ops, HSE, Procurement, FM & Project teams) to ensure smooth project execution.

Ensure audit and compliance readiness

, maintaining safety, hygiene, and operational standards across all projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years' experience in

facilities maintenance and fit-out project management

, preferably in retail supermarkets. Solid knowledge of

refrigeration troubleshooting & MEP systems

. Strong reporting/documentation skills; CAFM knowledge is an advantage.

Valid UAE driving license

required.
