Lead facade design development for curtain wall, unitized systems, stick systems, cladding, glazing, louvers, and special facades
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and facade design intent
Prepare and review facade shop drawings, calculations, method statements, and material submittals
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local authority codes
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers
Attend technical meetings and provide facade-related solutions to design and site challenges
Support value engineering without compromising performance or safety
Performance & Compliance
Ensure facade performance requirements are met (structural, thermal, acoustic, fire, water, air)
Manage mock-ups, laboratory testing, site testing, and inspections
Oversee compliance with fire safety, wind load, seismic, and sustainability requirements
Site & Installation Support
Provide technical support during fabrication and installation
Resolve site technical issues and non-conformances
Conduct site inspections and quality audits
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
8-15 years of experience in facade engineering or facade contracting
Strong knowledge of curtain wall and cladding systems
Experience with high-rise and complex facade projects
Familiarity with ASTM, BS, EN standards and local authority requirements
