Job Description
We are well established Aluminum Manufacturing Industry, located in Dubai (DIC), United Arab Emirates, is seeking an experienced Facade Designer/Draftsman/ Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aluminium industry and be able to create detailed drawings and plans to support our production and engineering processes. Responsibilities:
- AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN WITH KNOWLEDGE OF 3D MAX (KITCHEN, PERGOLA, ALUM & GLASS FABRICATION INDUSTRY).
- Create accurate technical drawings and plans using CAD software
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to understand project requirements.
- Provide input on design and fabrication methods, Ensure that drawings are in compliance with company and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical design issues
- Participate in the design review process to ensure that projects are completed to meet customer specification.
- Ensure technical resources are managed effectively by working closely with production and projects teams.
- Escalate any potential issues to the Engineering/Technical Manager before they become problems, and work with them to resolve
- Develop designs for new products.
- Review and enhance designs for existing products
- Manage documentation of both new and revised designs.
- Understand the project requirements and develop high quality designs accordingly.
- Develop design layouts for complex projects using Computer Aided Design tools.
- Develop primary sketches and models for final selection of product designs.
- Review designs and provide recommendations.
- Select materials, engineering standards, and generic parts for product designs.
- Present designs to clients and internal teams clearly.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Develop product information packages including drawing specifications
- Good knowledge of Curtain wall, doors , windows, pergola, minimal sliding system, etc..
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years Experience in Facade and Aluminum industry.
- Degree or diploma holder of mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or Building Design (Architectural) .
- Fabrication/Assembly drawing knowledge
- Preparing 2D & 3D Autocade drawings which include, concept drawings, shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
