ship repairs and maintenance

. Our operations are based mainly in Sharjah and Dubai, UAE.

We are looking for fabricators and welders to join our ship repairs and maintenance team. Part of our objective to diversify our demographic group, we are inviting applications for these two positions.

FABRICATOR - preferably Structural FABRICATORS

Minimum 3 years working experience in shipyards or ship repairs companies or in similar industry. Have basic safety & health knowledge Have experience working at shipyards or ship repairs companies Must know how to use of PPE (personal protection equipment) properly, that is coverall safety helmet, safety boots and glasses Must understand and able to speak basic / simple English

STEEL FABRICATOR

Minimum 3 years working experience in shipyards or ship repairs companies or in similar industry. Able to setup the cylinder & equipment and select the correct pressure. Must know how to use the measuring tape and do the measurement Must know how to make marking on the plates for cutting. Familiar with touch cutting and plate grinding. Able to read drawing. Know simple welding techniques. Have valid certificate, if applicable.

PIPE FITTING - FABRICATOR

Refer to above requirements as listed in steel fabricator. In addition, experience in pipe fitting & able to make accurate measurement, other requirement same as steel fabricator

WELDER

Minimum 3 years working experience in shipyards or ship repairs companies or in similar industry. Able to perform his duties in a safe manner Able to comply environment safety follow the policies & procedures of the company Able to setup the welding machine and equipment. Able to adjust and to correct ampere & voltage of the welding machine. Know of Oxy-fuel safety and setup. Know how to control fume extraction at the point of welding. Visual test on 3G position welding. Able to identify and use correct type of electrode

Pay: From AED2,200.00 per month

Education:

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
