We are currently hiring Fabrication Supervisors with a strong background in steel and piping fabrication. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing fabrication teams, ensuring quality standards, and driving productivity across structural and piping projects within ship repair, shipbuilding, or industrial fabrication environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of steel and piping fabrication activities.
Interpret fabrication drawings, material specifications, and work instructions.
Plan and allocate tasks to fabricators and welders to meet project timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control, and workmanship standards.
Conduct inspections of fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and weld quality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to improve skills and efficiency.
Monitor daily progress and prepare job status reports as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / ITI / Certification in Mechanical, Fabrication, or Welding Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in steel and piping fabrication.
Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and material standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.
Ability to read and interpret structural and piping drawings.
Familiarity with shipyard or industrial fabrication safety procedures.
Good communication, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
