Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description
The Fabrication Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective production of wire mesh products and custom metal fabrications. This role requires hands-on leadership, team management, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of fabrication staff to meet production goals. Review fabrication drawings and production plans to allocate manpower and materials. Ensure products are fabricated according to specifications and within tolerance limits. Monitor employee performance and provide training, coaching, and discipline as needed. Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain fabrication equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance. Optimize processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Report daily production output, delays, and equipment issues to upper management.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in UAE. Strong knowledge of metalworking processes such as cutting, bending, welding, and finishing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans. Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using fabrication tools and equipment; knowledge of CNC and automation is a plus.
