Fabrication Supervisor
Job Description
Plan and coordinate daily activities for block mold fabrication, including cutting, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing.
Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure mold dimensions and tolerances meet design specifications.
Work closely with design and estimation teams to understand mold complexity and production feasibility.
Ensure efficient use of machines such as CNC, milling, lathe, EDM, and welding equipment.
Monitor workflow, lead time, and material usage to reduce wastage and enhance efficiency.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all fabrication processes.
Supervise quality checks at various stages of mold fabrication to ensure dimensional accuracy and durability.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions with the team.
