Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure sufficient task analyses are completed to carry out workouts safely.

Ensure all direct laboring control work to safe working procedures and systems

Co-ordinate and allocate work to trade employees in accordance with directions

Request equipment, materials, and consumables as required within the limits of authority

Monitor the use of materials and care of equipment and plant to minimize waste and damage

Fabricate pressure vessels, structural steel, boilers, tanks, shells, chutes, hoppers, stacks, and other

heavy steel components on a custom-made basis and often includes the fitting and installation of

components for process equipment.

Prepare a short-term schedule at an agreed frequency (daily and weekly)

Daily time cards are completed accurately and on time

Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace

Ensure that all mechanical labor is constantly employed efficiently and effectively.

Oxy-acetylene and gas cutting.

Ensure that work is performed as per Job Cards or ITPs and the current schedule of works.

Adhere to the company's Management Information System.

Enforce safety rules through ongoing communication and Toolbox meetings

Ensuring Compliance with Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities as per the given induction (AR-F-HR-06_Rev. 0_16/03/2023)

KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITIES:

Ability to take the lead in the erection of steel, fabrication, grid layout, rigging, etc.

Ability to read and understand the drawings.

Plan work and execute.

Basic knowledge of welding (machine set up, Mig, stick, gas, etc.)

Safe operations practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

Minimum 5 to 7 years of practical experience.

Completion of secondary education followed by 3 years of formal training in fabrication trades.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
