Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose

To manage the day to day operations in relation to all fabric maintenance & modification activities. This will include pre-identification of work scopes through to closing out of each FM & Modification activities. This role will ensure the quality of work is being carried out / achieved by the FM & Mod\xe2\x80\x99s contractor.

Functions

ESSENTIAL

\xc2\xb7 Review piping & structural fabric maintenance scopes from project draft work instructions / packs.

\xc2\xb7 Providing additional information for work instructions / packs, such as access requirements, manning & durations.

\xc2\xb7 Mark up item parts at site for Repair / Replace structural items & FMU\xe2\x80\x99s or FMC\xe2\x80\x99s to proceed also give clear scope identification, prior to execution from FM contractor.

\xc2\xb7 Review / sign off on the Surface Preparation Release Certificate for each item relating to Pressure Systems & Live Equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Working closely with FM Contractor supervisors to ensure that the work scopes are clearly understood by all involved.

\xc2\xb7 Guide / direct each FM team daily to ensure that work is carried out safely / efficiently.

\xc2\xb7 Carry out any Holding Coat & QA / QC training to ensure each FM individual meets our standards / expectations.

\xc2\xb7 Carry out independent QA / QC checks on all FM work fronts, capturing both surface preparation & paint applications which is in line with the DP-PC-1 paint specification.

\xc2\xb7 Carry out site visit & close out reports on completed items relating to gratings, handrails & deck plates, report back finding to onshore.

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the Construction Superintendents & operations.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with onshore FM Lead Engineer / Team on a daily basis.

\xc2\xb7 Carry out QA / QC as and when directed by the FM Coordinator / Lead Engineer.

\xc2\xb7 Review & sign off on each close out inspection report, send onshore to FM Coordinator / Lead Engineer for final close out with the anomaly / MCDR management system.

\xc2\xb7 Sign off on all work instruction / pack, then submit back onshore.

\xc2\xb7 Measure / report progress on a daily basis through the Construction Superintendent / FM Coordinator / Lead Engineer.

NON-ESSENTIAL

Qualifications

E- Essential, P- Preferred

\xc2\xb7 NACE Level II or equivalent coating inspector (E)

\xc2\xb7 OPITO offshore survival (E)

\xc2\xb7 UKOOA offshore medical (E)

\xc2\xb7 Rope Access Technician (P)

Experience

E- Essential, P- Preferred

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of basic corrosion and corrosion protection principles (E)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to create and/or interpret various types of structural and piping technical drawings (e.g general arrangements, P&IDs, piping isometrics, structural drawings) (E)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to interface at all levels including client and senior management (E)

\xc2\xb7 Material take off / estimating (E)

\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills (E)

\xc2\xb7 Strong team player with the ability to work standalone in challenge situations (E)
