Role Summary
The F and B Supervisor at Vista Restaurant and Terrace, InterContinental Dubai Festival City, will oversee restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service, team coordination, and high guest satisfaction. This role requires leadership, advanced beverage knowledge, and the ability to manage both guest-facing and operational aspects of a busy dining environment.
What You'll Do

• Conduct shift briefings in the absence of a manager to communicate daily operations and requirements
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and record them for follow-up
• Supervise cash handling and banking processes, including preparing daily cash flow and banking reports
• Train and instruct staff in cash security procedures and monitor for irregularities
• Oversee service equipment maintenance and monitor guest facilities to ensure quality standards are met
• Manage stock levels and security procedures for F and B operations
• Assist in developing menus and wine lists to enhance the guest experience
• Supervise service during functions and a la carte operations
• Ensure all team members deliver service aligned with InterContinental brand standards

Ideal Profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a la carte restaurant operations, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
• Advanced beverage knowledge and passion for food service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead a team and perform well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills for restaurant operations
• Open-minded, willing to learn, and adaptable to different functions
