Job Description

Imar, Engineering Consultants is a multidisciplinary consulting firm offering a wide range of services, including urban planning and design, architectural and engineering design, interior design, real estate consulting, and other services related to the urban development sector. Since its establishment in 1993, Emaar has contracted with a long list of clients in both the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities :

Mine Planning & Design



Develop short-term and long-term mine plans, production schedules, and pit/underground designs. Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and resource estimation in collaboration with geology teams. Evaluate and optimize mining methods, layouts, and extraction strategies.

Operations & Production Support



Monitor daily mining activities, ensuring alignment with plans and production targets. Recommend improvements to drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and ventilation systems. Analyze operational performance data and implement efficiency improvements.

Safety & Compliance



Ensure mining operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Support implementation of safety protocols, risk assessments, and hazard controls. Work with safety teams to investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.

Technical Analysis & Reporting



Use modeling and mine-planning software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan, Deswik) to create 3D models, designs, and schedules. Prepare technical reports, production forecasts, and engineering documentation. Conduct geotechnical assessments to ensure slope stability or underground support integrity.

Project Management



Lead engineering projects such as infrastructure development, equipment upgrades, and process improvements. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mining / Petroleum Engineering, with at least 20 years of practical experience in implementing oil and gas projects.

Qualified by the American Petroleum Institute (API), having received specialized training courses and professional certificates in gas liquefaction and processing, safety, and project management. Familiarity with information technology and software used in the natural gas and oil industry, and proficiency in specialized engineering software. Experience in managing large and complex projects in the oil and gas sector. Experience in natural gas liquefaction operations. Member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
