In this Expert

Global Aid & relief Pricing position

Execute plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy Respond to pricing enquiries in time and with efficient and competitive manner Ensure the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs Ensure RFQ development, particularly for high priority RFQs provide detailed guidance and for critical RFQs conduct launch calls Assist in development of tenders and ensure on-time submission on relevant documents Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries Build and secure business relationships with customers, global network and airlines/shippinglines Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed Study and resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for OFR pricing focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

Stakeholders

Connect with and influence other departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers May convince others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches Build strong, trusting cross-functional and cross country relationships with DHL colleagues Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders

Management Responsibility

Individual contributor who may manage two or fewer employees May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs Coach and review the work of lower level professionals

Now, here is what we need from you!

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification Work experience from Aid/Relief vertical either at shipping lines or competitors Experience Level more than 4 years.
