Specializes in cutting, shaping, and assembling wood or wood substitutes to create or repair items such as furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, partitions, and decorative elements. Construction and fit-outs, carpenters key role is turning design plans into finished interiors.

Responsibilities:

Measurement & Planning Take accurate site measurements for furniture, partitions, doors, cabinets, and other woodworks. Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications. Fabrication & Installation Cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, or other materials. Build and install doors, windows, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and partitions. Install skirting, cornices, and decorative wooden features. Fit and adjust hardware such as hinges, locks, and handles. Renovation Works Repair or replace damaged wooden structures, panels, or fittings. Modify existing woodwork to match new designs. Refinish or polish surfaces for a new appearance. Fit-Out Works Coordinate with interior designers and engineers to execute fit-out requirements. Work alongside electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure proper sequencing of works. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of all wood installations. Quality & Safety Ensure all woodworks meet quality standards and project specifications. Use tools and machinery safely and maintain them in good condition. Follow site safety protocols and company HSE guidelines. Finishing & Handover Sand, varnish, paint, or polish wood surfaces as required. Ensure a clean and professional finish in all carpentry works. Support final inspections and make adjustments before client handover.
