Expeditor (ADNOC Approved)
Job Summary:
The Expeditor is responsible for monitoring and tracking the progress of purchase orders from the point of order placement until final delivery to site. They act as the primary liaison with vendors to ensure suppliers meet their contractual delivery commitments, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.
Key Responsibilities:

• Order Tracking: Monitor and document the status of all purchase orders, focusing on critical path items.
• Vendor Liaison: Maintain regular communication with suppliers through phone, email, and expediting visits to review manufacturing progress, inspection dates, and shipping schedules.
• Progress Verification: Verify vendor progress against the agreed manufacturing schedule, reviewing key milestones such as material receipt, fabrication, assembly, testing, and readiness for shipment.
• Issue Identification: Proactively identify potential delays or issues in the supply chain (e.g., material shortages, resource problems, quality issues) and escalate them promptly.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular expediting reports and status updates, highlighting any delays and proposed corrective actions.
• Coordination: Work closely with the Inspection team to ensure inspection dates are aligned with the manufacturing schedule and do not cause delays.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of expediting experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Must be ADNOC Approved as an Expeditor.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for oil and gas equipment.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and follow-up skills. Willingness to travel for vendor visits.
