JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Accountabilities

Perform research & analysis of markets, identifying opportunities in MEAI Region. Play an active role in drafting of feasibility studies for new regions.

Business Case preparation for Investment Committee further approval, involving internal and external stakeholders to gather the necessary input.

Create detailed timelines and manage delivery against the timeline. Coordinate meetings with all the functions to guarantee an alignment and maintaining all the parties informed.

Implementation of BC. Once business case is approved, planning and organization of business trips to the respective countries to perform on-site analysis of the region, ensuring the correct implementation and mitigating any potential risks and deviation and putting the necessary action plan.

Key point of contact for New Market expansions projects within MEAI region. Be a key contact person between MEAI Commercial team and other internal stakeholders, answer all the questions and provide project status updates to the sponsors and MEAI Core Commercial Regional Director.

Position Requirements

Skills

Strong commercial capabilities with deep understanding of business, market dynamics and API distribution channels / Hotel landscape desirable

Versatile relationship skills and ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders

Analytical and structured mindset, problem-solving skills required \xe2\x80\x93 Expertise in Business case preparation

Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Experience in opening new business and geographies

International experience in implementing new business in different locations.

Very organized and self-driven to correct any potential deviation

Very fluent in English as key working language. Other languages are highly recommended

Experience

3 to 5 years experience within the online accomodation distribution business in optimization-related roles. API and/or Suppliers commercial experience as a key requirement

3 to 5 years previous experience in analitical roles and Business cases preparation

3 to 5 years of experience in opening new Business, business lines.

Qualifications

Business-related Diploma or Degree with strong emphasis on Business Administration

Key Challenges

Interact on a day-to-day basis with commercial teams

Regular communications with all functions, ensure prioritization of the required initiatives

Ensure analysis is combined with strong business acumen

Ensure upper management is involved and understand the value of the initiatives/projects

Pro-actively identify issues and risks
